This is part two of a series of Mini-Books titled "HE Walks With ME." It is important that Christians understand how much God wants to live in us and we in Him.

In Colossians 3:1-3 it says, "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God...Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth...For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." If Christians are in Christ and Christ is in God, Christians should see the evidence in their lives. There should be a noticeable difference between those who are born again in Christ Jesus and those who are not born again in Christ Jesus.

Everyday in the life of a Christian there should be evidence of Christ in them.

Christ in You!

In August of 2003 I was surprised by two angels in my living room. I believe it all started in the months before August of 2003.

I had a vehicle that was up in miles. It had over two hundred and forty thousand miles on it. The engine was getting in need of repairs.

When I thought about making the repairs and the cost of the repairs, I decided that if that vehicle did not pass the emissions tests in August, I would not spend the money to repair the engine. I would just look for another vehicle with less milage.

In the last week of August I took my vehicle in for an emissions test. It failed the test, and therefore I began to look for another vehicle. I liked the vehicle I had. There were certain features that I liked about it. Therefore, I wanted another vehicle with similar features.

I went to a few used vehicle dealers and looked for a similar vehicle. I did not find any vehicles with the features I wanted. That evening I called a dealership about ten miles away, and told them what type of vehicle I was looking for. The salesman said they had just taken one in on trade that day. They did not have time to check it out as yet. But, he described the vehicle to me, telling me it was Silver in color and it had about one hundred and five thousand miles on it. It was similar to what I was looking for. I asked him how much he thought I would have to pay for it if it checked out for them? He said he needed to talk to someone over him about the price. Shortly after that he called me back and said to me, "If everything checks out good it would be priced at about $6,700."

Then I told him that I had an older vehicle with over two hundred and forty thousand miles on it. I wanted to get rid of that vehicle so I could transfer the license plates over to a different vehicle. Therefore, I asked him how much he thought would be the lowest they could go if I paid cash? He then told me "The lowest would be about $3,500. plus my vehicle in trade." When he said about $3,500. I had a witness in my spirit, that would be a fair price. I told him that if I did not find another one similar, I would call him back and talk to him about it.

The next day I went to see a Pastor friend of mine about things in the ministry. After I left this Pastors house I drove over to a Automobile dealership that sold new vehicles of the type I was looking for. That dealership salesman told me they do not sell used vehicles like the one I was looking for.

I drove down the street a short distance and went into another Dealership that sold another brand of vehicles. As I drove in and stopped, a sales man came to me and asked if he could help me. I told him what make of vehicle I was looking for and a description of what I was looking for on the vehicle. He said "I have one here." I was a little surprised that he said he had one like what I was looking for. He took me over to a vehicle just like what I was looking for.

He got the keys and started the engine. We stood in the front of the vehicle with the engine running and we could hardly hear the sound of the engine, it was so smooth and quiet running that I was surprised. I looked the vehicle over and noticed that they had done some things, like new tires, touched up the paint, cleaned it up good. I looked at the speedometer and it only had eighty-four thousand miles on it. The price on the window was listed at $6,700.

I told him that it was the first vehicle I saw that was like what I wanted. He started coming down on the price. He said, "What if I can get this vehicle for you for $5.500. and your vehicle, would you take it?" My answer was, "I just started looking for a vehicle like this one, but I am not in a hurry to buy one. I may just keep looking." Then he said, "What if I can get this vehicle for you for $4,500. and your vehicle, would you take it?" I said, "I think I would just keep looking around. I am not in a hurry." Then he said to me, "What if I can get you this vehicle for $3,500. and your vehicle, would you take it?" I said to him, "If you can get it for me for $3,500. you would be twisting my arm and I would most likely take it."

In comparison to the other vehicle that I called about the night before, this vehicle only had eighty-four thousand miles on it. That is a lot better than one with an hundred and five thousand miles. Although I did not go and see the first vehicle, this one seemed to be just what I was looking for.

That was in August of 2003, when I bought that vehicle. Between August of 2003 and now in June of 2013, I have had very little repairs to do on that vehicle. It now has just over one hundred and fifty-five thousand miles on it. I pray over my vehicles and the LORD keeps them going with very little cost of repair.

That day I bought that vehicle. I drove it home and it was late in the afternoon. About 7:00 PM I was about to go to bed. The temperature in the house was about 85 degrees and outside it was about 79 degrees. I had two fans running in the windows, blowing cooler air into the house. I was ready to go to bed. I only had my house coat on when I thought had I better not go to bed yet, but rather lie down in the living room for a while, then shut the fans off before going to bed.

I laid down on the davenport for about a half-hour and fell asleep. While asleep I felt someone's cold hand grab my foot. I jumped and said, Hey! I looked, and beside the davenport, by my feet stood two angels dressed in US Army combat uniforms. They did not have any weapons, and only a small dress cap on their head. They stood near my feet looking at me (about four feet from my face). There was no fear, and they did not look as though they intended to do anything but look at me. They stood there like two people waiting for someone to take their picture. At that time, I did not know that they were angels. I thought they were US Army soldiers.

I looked them over very carefully, from the combat boots up to the top of their heads. They did not have any identification on them, no rank, no name tag, none-whatsoever. They were both about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed about 180 pounds. They were both white complexion. One had blond hair the other one had black hair. They were clean shaven, no mustache, no beard. Their uniforms had a perfect press, as if it had just come from a dry-cleaners. Then I was staring in their faces to see if I might know who they were. I did not recognize either one as someone I knew. They never said anything to me and I did not try to speak to them. After a short time of me looking at them and them looking at me they disappeared. They did not walk away, they did not move, they just disappeared.

I did not have any fear and no coldness like as if they were demons. I did not have any thoughts at all that they were there to cause me any harm, whatsoever. I had "total peace" all the time. After they disappeared I got up and looked around the house to see if there was anything I could see that they would have appeared to warn me about, like a gas leak or unlocked door, or something. I did not find anything wrong anywhere. At the time, all I could figure out was that they just wanted me to know they were there protecting me from any danger.

After sharing this with many other Christians in the body of Christ, one brother in the LORD who had served time in the Army told me, "The uniform and the cap I saw was that of "special forces." He said, "They do not carry any identification, but are specially trained to do specific duties."

Praise God! It is exciting to know the LORD loves us so, that He will even send "special forces" to us if we need them. Now, it's also exciting to know, the LORD does not just send angels to those who are someone great in the body of Christ, but even to someone like myself; the least of all the brethren.

As I talked to other Christians about those two angels, it came to me that the reason the hand that took hold of my foot was cold is that angels do not have blood in their veins to keep them warm. They do not need blood in the heavens.

The next morning I called a Pastor friend of mine in Iowa, and told him that I had bought a different vehicle, and I was coming down to see him that day.

I packed up my clothes to stay for a few days, and left. I filled the gas tank on the vehicle and drove about three hundred and fifty miles to my friends house. The more I thought about those two angels appearing to me, it seemed to me they may have had something to do with helping me find that vehicle and buy it. In Hebrews 1:14, it speaks about angels ministering to Christians. It says, "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" There is no limit the type of ministering that angels do. Which means, whatsoever God sends them to do, they do. Could it be that they were sent to me that day, to help me find the vehicle I was looking for?

God is doing great things in the lives of Christians every day. Many times we do not realize all that God is doing for us. Too often Christians go about their own business not paying attention to what God is doing in their lives.

Every born again Christian has the Father and the Son of God dwelling in them. They are not alone in this world. God is with them and in them all the time.

In Romans 8:28 it says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." God is more interested in working things out for our good than we are.

Once Christians receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, they will experience a greater manifestation of God working in their lives for their good.

I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit in May of 1981. Following that day, many things happened in my life that never seemed to be happening before I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

In 1984, there was a time that I had a growth on my finger. It was there and growing for about two weeks. One day, I was praying in the Spirit, while driving down the road, and out of my spirit came these words, "Why don't you curse the roots on that growth and command it to die and fall off?" I immediately cursed the roots in Jesus' name and commanded them to die and the growth to fall off.

It seemed as though nothing happened when I prayed. The growth was still there. I couldn't see any change. For weeks I continued to change the band-aid I had been putting on it to protect it. One thing I noticed after a week or so was that it wasn't getting any larger. It stayed about the same size.

About a month later as I was changing the band-aid, the growth fell off. It came off with the band-aid when I removed it to put on a new one. The words I spoke that day while driving down the road caused the growth to die. It did fall off after about a month. There was not even a mark where it had been. I knew it was the Holy Spirit speaking to me from my spirit, because everything agreed with the written Word of God.

Jesus spoke to a fig tree the week before He died and arose again from the dead. In Mark 11:12-15 it says, "And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry...And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet...And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it."

Then in Mark 11:19-24 it says, "And when even was come, he went out of the city...And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots...And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away...And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God...For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith...Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

When the words came to me from my spirit, "Why don't you curse the roots on that growth and command it to die and fall off," the Holy Spirit was reminding me of what Jesus had said in Mark 11:23,24.

Jesus said in John 14:26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

When we have the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit helps us to remember the things that Jesus said. I knew what came from my spirit was in accordance with what Jesus said about the fig tree in Mark 11:23,24.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Guide, Comforter, Leader, and Teacher. In 1 John 5:8, it says, "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water (Word), and the blood: and these three agree in one." The Holy Spirit will always lead us according to the written Word of God and the blood of Jesus.

We need the Holy Spirit working in our lives daily. There are many times when things happen in our lives, and we need the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and the Blood of Jesus to overcome whatsoever is not of God in our lives.

In Mark 16:16-18, Jesus said, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned...And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues...They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." When it says, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved," Jesus was not talking about water baptism as many think. Very few Christians start speaking in tongues when they are water baptized. But, when Christians are baptized in the Holy spirit, they usually start speaking in tongues.

It is the Holy Spirit in us, that helps us to do whatsoever the Word of God tells us to do. The good part about the Holy Spirit helping us is that He even puts the words in our mouth as we speak then out. That is the anointing of the Holy Spirit working in our lives.

First, the Holy Spirit teaches us what to do and when to do it. Then the Holy Spirit helps us do whatsoever we need to do. Many times over the years the Holy Spirit reminded me of what the Word of God says, and then helped me when I did what I was reminded of.

In January of 2012, I had a growth on the bridge of my nose between my eyes. It was almost the size of a pencil eraser. It began growing sometime in December of 2011. In January of 2012 I put my finger on the growth and said, "In the name of Jesus, I command this growth to die and leave my body." It took about two and one-half weeks and it was completely gone.

Many people today, even Christians will go to a doctor to have a growth removed. When you are born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, you do not need to go to a doctor. The Holy Spirit will help you do what we are told to do in the written Word of God, and God will do a better job than the doctors.

The great thing about God working in our lives when we need healing is that, it does not cost any money. We do not need to suffer pain. There are no side effects caused by treatments. Everything is perfect, when the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and the Blood of Jesus are working together.

Praying in tongues is a great way to receive healing. In May of 2002, I was driving my car, taking two other people home. All the way to their house I was praying in the Spirit. I had another person with me while driving back to where I lived.

I had just gotten on the freeway, traveling 65 miles per hour, when sharp pains started to come from my heart. It was like lightning, sharp and repeated. It continued to get worse and worse.

The person who was with me was also filled with the Holy Spirit, and knew what the Holy Spirit revealed to her. I said to her, "I think I am getting a heart-attack." She said to me, "I know." She was already praying in the Spirit. Both of us kept praying in tongues. We did not pray in English, only in tongues. Although, in our minds, we spoke healing and commanded the pain to leave.

For about five minutes, the sharp pain continued to increase. Then it started down my left arm. My left arm started to get numb and I pulled off the freeway. I asked the person with me to do the driving, while we both kept praying in tongues.

About five minutes later, all of the pain left and I felt fine. That happened between six and seven in the morning. All day I was fine, no pain and no numbness in my arm. Then about midnight the pain started again, just like the first time. I just started praying in tongues again and went to bed praying in tongues. Within about fifteen minutes all the pain was gone and I went to sleep. I have not had any sharp pain in my heart since that day. Although, for about three or four days, I could feel a spot in my upper left chest that felt like someone had hit me there. That was in May of 2002. I have never had any symptoms like that since that time.

The Word of God works, even when you pray in tongues. It is the speaking of the Word that causes the power of God to bring healing to our bodies. When a person speaks in tongues, they are speaking the Word of God. That is the important part, speaking the Word of God out of our mouth.

Why is it that the Devil tries so hard to keep Christians from receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues? Why is it that even after Christians receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues they very seldom speak in tongues?

The Devil works in the minds of Christians, telling them all sorts of reasons why they should not receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Then when they do receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the Devil uses others to tell them not to speak in tongues.

The Devil knows what happens when Christians speak in tongues. Speaking in tongues destroys the works of the Devil. The Devil does not want the Holy Spirit helping Christians destroy the evil works that he is doing or trying to do.

God is good. The Devil is evil. In James 1:17, it says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

God is the giver of all good things. God never gives anyone anything that is not good. God is the God of all creation, and God never changes. In Malachi 3:6, it says, "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."

The Devil is evil. All evil comes from the Devil. The Devil never changes. Everything the Devil does results in evil. The Devil is the god of this world, therefore the world is walking in darkness, for the world does not know the light of the World.

The LORD is the Light of the world that came into this world in Genesis 1:3, where it says, "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." This Light is not the light of sun or the moon, for the sun and the moon were not created until the fourth day of creation.

In 1 John 1:5 it says, "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." This is the Light that is spoken of also in John 1:4, where it says, "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."

Wherever we look in the Scriptures, God is good and the Devil is evil. They are opposite of each other. Therefore, Christians need to make choices everyday. Who will Christians follow, God or the Devil? Who will they believe God or the Devil? Jesus said in John 8:44 that the Devil was a liar from the beginning, and there is no truth in the Devil.

There cannot be any truth in the Devil because Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6). Jesus is not in the Devil, and the Devil is not in Jesus. These two are opposites of each other.

In Exodus 15:26, the LORD said, "...I am the LORD that healeth thee." When the LORD heals us, healing is a good and perfect gift from God the Father, which comes through the LORD Jesus Christ. In Psalm 107:19,20, it says, "Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses...He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

Who is "His Word?" In John 1:1,2, it says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...The same was in the beginning with God." Who did God send to the Children of Israel when they needed healing? God's Word is not an it, it is a Him. Jesus is "the Word of God" that God sent into the world to heal those who need healing.

In John 1:14 it says, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." Why did the Word of God that was with God in the beginning become flesh?

The Word of God came into this world to take away all sin, iniquity, infirmities, sickness and disease. How did the Word of God take away all sin, iniquity, infirmities, sickness and disease? The Word of God took all that come upon mankind by sin, and nailed it to His Cross. Then He gave His physical life of the flesh for the healing of our bodies and his blood for the forgiveness of sin.

Jesus Christ, "who is the Word of God" defeated the Devil in His death and resurrection from the dead. Those who are in Christ Jesus by a new birth in the Spirit of Christ are no longer in the flesh, but in the Spirit. It says in Romans 8:9, "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." Then it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Born again Christians are new creatures in Christ Jesus. They have been adopted by God into the body of Christ. It says in Ephesians 1:4,5, "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love...Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will."

In Christ Jesus, Christians belong to the LORD. The Devil does not have any legal authority to operate in their lives. The only way the Devil can get a Christian to sin is to deceive them into walking after the flesh and not after the Spirit. The only way the Devil can put sickness and disease upon a Christian is to get them to sin. Sin brings sickness and disease. Sickness and disease bring death.

If Christians today do not believe the Word of God, they automatically are believing a lie of the Devil. It all began with a lie spoken by the serpent in the Garden of Eden. In Genesis 3:4,5, it says, "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die...For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." Eve believed the lie of the Devil and took and ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Then Eve gave to Adam of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil and Adam ate also. Both, Adam and Eve believed a lie of the Devil.

What Adam and Eve did, brought sin and death upon mankind. It started in the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. From that day on, the world has been living by the knowledge of good and evil, which is the opposite of living by the tree of life. God does not operate by the knowledge of good and evil. God operates by His Word, which comes from the tree of life.

What is sad today, is that many Christians have gone back to the worlds system. When they need healing, they turn to the doctors and medication, when they should be turning to the LORD, Who is the Word of God that heals them.

When Christians turn to the god of this world for healing, they turn away from the LORD as their healer. Many Christians think the doctors can heal them. When they turn to the doctors, deception enters into their minds, and they become blinded by the god of this world.

Sin causes sickness and disease. In Romans 5:12 it says, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Sickness and disease cause death to the physical body.

Mostly, the doctors use the same materials as the LORD God used when He created mankind in the beginning. In Genesis 2:7, it says, "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Man's physical body was formed from the elements of the earth. It is the elements of the earth that the doctors use to heal the sick.

The elements of the earth are only temporal, they will pass away. In 2 Corinthians 4:18, it says, "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." In 1 Peter 1:24,25 it says, "For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away...But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you."

Therefore, the Doctors can sometimes remove the symptoms of sickness and disease, but they cannot remove the causes. The cause of sickness and disease is sin.

Only the LORD can remove sin. Sin is only removed by "...the Blood of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world" (Rev. 13:8). Jesus bore our sickness and disease in His own body on the Cross of Calvary (Col. 2:13-15). Until we believe the Word of God, we will still be walking by the knowledge of good and evil, which was the greatest error that Adam and Eve made in the beginning.

When Adam and Eve listened to the words of the serpent, they brought sin and death upon all mankind. The LORD is the only one who can remove sin and death. The LORD has already removed sin and death by taking all our sins and death upon Himself for us, when Jesus went to the Cross and gave His physical life which was in His physical body for the salvation of all who will believe.

Many Christians today look to the doctors the same way Eve looked to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They think the doctors can heal them. They think that what the doctors do is good. They do not understand the works of the Devil. By this, they are deceived just as Eve was deceived.

There is not one place in the whole Bible from Genesis through Revelation where the Word of God told anyone to go to a doctor. The Holy Spirit never tells a person to go to a doctor. That idea is of the flesh. Those who walk after the flesh go to doctors when they need healing. The Holy Spirit always leads us to go to the written Word of God and receive what God has already provided for us in Christ Jesus.

In James 1:17 it says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

In 1 John 2:27, it says, "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." Christians who have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit have the anointing within them to teach them all things.

It is not a matter of looking up to heaven for God to send the Holy Spirit to teach us. The Holy Spirit dwells in us, "in our spirit." From within our spirit the Holy Spirit speaks to us, helping, guiding, leading, comforting, and teaching us all things.

The Holy Spirit made us a new creature in Christ Jesus when we received Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior. When we receive Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior it is the Holy Spirit that causes our new birth into the body of Christ. That is what Jesus was speaking of when He said in John 3:6, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit."

Our first birth was in the flesh of Adam. Our second birth is in the Spirit of Christ Jesus.

Once a person is born again into the Spirit of Christ by a work of the Holy Spirit, they need to receive the Holy Spirit Himself into their new spirit, to abide in them, just as the Father and the Son abide in them.

When the Holy Spirit is abiding in Christians, they have the power to become witnesses unto Jesus in everything they do. In Acts 1:8, Jesus said, "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

In 1 John 3:24, it says, "And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us." The fullness of the Godhead dwells within Christians that have received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

When Christians totally rely upon the fullness of God within them, nothing the Devil tries to do can overcome them.

In 1 John 4:8, it says, "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." God is love. Therefore, God will never force anyone to do anything. Of our own free will, we must first receive Jesus Christ into our lives as LORD and Savior. Then we must receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Who gives us the power to become witnesses unto Jesus in everything we do. With the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in us, "we have within us, all power over all of the works of the Devil."
